My aim is to work hand-in-hand with clients/patients to develop a personalized wellness plan that works best for them. As a biracial male who has lived in both Nashville and the Bay Area, I draw on various personal and professional experiences in an effort to connect with patients' experiences. I love people and am excited to help them fulfill their potential. Most family and friends would describe me as warm, friendly, and laid-back. I bring all of that to patient-care as a psychiatrist and psychotherapist.
I grew up in an academic home in Nashville, Tennessee. I am half East Indian (like Gandhi) and half Caucasian. I moved to California in 2003 for residency, and have been stuck here ever since! I am married, with 2 kids. In my spare time, I like traveling, dabbling with guitar, and playing pick-up basketball and soccer with my kids.
