When I sit down with you, I take a personalized, holistic approach. We will collaborate together to formulate a plan for your wellness, including: medical issues, family strengths and weaknesses, habits and hobbies, relationships.
I am open and readily-available to explore concerns about and with multiple family members in a comfortable, relaxing environment. I will engage in couples therapy, but will refer out for family therapy.
My goal in therapy would be to develop a non-judging collaborative healing relationship to meet your goals where possible.
We will work together to find the right medical or medication inverventions, if appropriate. This does not mean you will be on medication forever, but with the goal to get you back to baseline, or better. If you remain on medications at that time, that will be your choice.
Offering options for genetic testing to aid in wellness recommendations, particularly what medications or other interventions may be helpful. This can offer a more directed approach to interventions.
